I create my artworks by weaving paper. It’s an unusual art form, so how did it all start?
For many years, I was a freelance photographer with a passion for creating abstract images. One day, I found some discarded test prints and had the idea of slicing them up to create something new.
My love of colour and texture led me to explore the possibilities of combining different images by weaving the sliced strips together. The result was these distinctive, intriguing paper weavings.
You can see more of my woven paper pictures at one of the Craft Shows we’ll be at, or direct from me at our Open Studio events. Or you can commission a piece direct from me through the contact page on this site.
